Thats awful! Cards from the tops-only era (1956-1980) tend to be worth more than from the 80’s, when different companies (Donruss, Fleer, Star) started competing. My own collection started in 86 and stopped in 88 (when I joined my brother’s comic buying efforts full-time.) I still have it in poly sheets, but its worth a fraction of what it might have been if it were only 5-10 years older. The pain of what was wasted or uselessly kept instead is just too much to bear…

I have a baseball signed by Babe Ruth.. I have an 8x10 picture of the Babe’s picture taken with a Negro League team during a exhibition game..Very rare..
I gave away 4 original Beatles dolls from 1969 in the original packaging to Sharmuta..Just for the fuck of it..
