One of our great articles of faith in America (along with trickle-down economics) is that more police=betterpolice protection.

It is also a matter of quality, not just quantity. One bad cop can undo the work of dozens of good ones. The Sanford PD really demonstrated that maxim.

I think this is less of a single-bad-cop thing, and more of a systemic peddling of influences
