Can the affidavit be challenged, or will the judge decide just based on its text?

I don’t really know but I don’t think so. Pretty sure the next step is arraignment and assuming a not guilty plea then an evidentiary hearing. That’s where the prosecutor has to actually show their cards. I’m also really surprised the lawyer didn’t ask for a bail hearing today.
