Actually, in pre-war Germany (and elsewhere in Europe) there were strong connections between various proto-ecological movements and the far-right. Running about in the Great Outdoors and “getting close to Nature” was always seen as a good way of recruiting and toughening up Fascist Youth group members
True, but the modern Green movement is pretty strong on social justice, including minority rights. (Full disclosure, I knew a few Greens and occasionally voted Green when I was younger). I don’t really the far-right gaining much traction with these folks.
