My wife and I just made brunch for our friends.

Le menu:

Amuse-bouche of chocolate banana bread

Eggs Benedict with freshly-made hollandaise sauce and pancetta.

Thinly sliced chipotle steak with pickled pappers and egg-whites.

Blueberry buckwheat pancakes

Hash browns with salsify and side of oven-baked bacon.

Drinks:

Tangerine mimosas, Zabar’s coffee, and bloody marys (extra spicy).

I’m kind of full now.

I gotta spend less time fixing bikes and more time fixing food. But I have to fix my bike now, because I crashed on the way home last night. Not much damage (to me or the bike) but the crash was precipitated by an overshift into the spokes, which is never supposed to happen on my bike.
