There’s not one answer, but many Christian Identity Churches assert that the people now called Jews are not descendants of the “orignal” OT Jews. Like, the entire religion of Judaism was stolen at some point.

The followup is that Aryan Jesus was sent by God to take back the religion. Thus CI followers are the Real Jews.

Sadly, it’s not a far cry from a similar line of logic present in wingnutty Christianity that isn’t as explicitly built on racial theories.

So their theory is some sort of religious “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” took place?
