I always think of the “c” word as being the worst one for that. (In spite of it having rather deep historical roots; it’s used by Chaucer, although in his usage it begins with a “q”. Really.)
I will NEVER forget my college freashman rhetoric T.A. reading us some Chauser (She wanted us to know that she could read Old English). Something about a woman stisking “er ole” out the window.
