Is it, at long last, time for a second Constitutional Convention? I’ve become convinced that t may be time for this nation to voluntarily and amicably divide itself into those states that see some sort of reason and the crazy fuckers. Let them see how their ideas work out when they don’t have the sane states to carry them.

I can’t see this working out well in practice. The new Wingnutistan would promptly become a failed state on our borders with an irrational, fanatical and belligerent population and political leaders.
