I’m not Canadian (though I might be in spirit).

On my last trip, my favourite restaurant on that trip was an Iranian restaurant in The Pas, Manitoba. (He also served poutine, albeit spiced with Iranian secret recipe spices.)

Even KFC in Canada served poutine.
