If only there was some way that we could force airlines to honor their seating and payment system, reducing their ability to bump passengers.

But that’s antithetical to these fuckers because that’d be regulation.

The airlines are free to bump passengers as they see fit, and Coulter was the one chosen this time. The odds weren’t in her favor.

I’ve been fortunate in that I’ve never been bumped from a flight, but I’m obsessive about arriving early. Also, most of my flying nowadays is international, so I’m not as subject to bumping as domestic fliers are.

The one time I was bumped happened like 30 years ago, but the airline offered me a replacement seat in first class at no additional charge. I took it.
