Honestly it’s useless to speculate whether Bernie would’ve won or lost. There’s no way of knowing. All that matters is that he lost the primary race by millions of votes and was mathematically out of the running by April at the latest. Not conceding when there was no statistically realistic shot at winning the nomination damaged her candidacy. Every single hour he waited to concede after the final contest in DC helped damage Clinton’s candidacy. Lying about her calling him unqualified so he could call her unqualified damaged her candidacy. Refusing to denounce his rabid surrogates who attacked her after he’d endorsed her damaged her candidacy.

Bernie was a selfish prick who fed his own ego at the cost of the most vulnerable groups in our society. His insistence on prioritizing his “movement” over the immediate health and safety of the very marginalized groups he purportedly championed has probably irrevocably damaged our society, indeed our planet, for generations to come.
