Yeah I get that. I’ve always just felt that conservative Protestants like Graham had a certain smugness that I really dislike. Franklin is just such a pathetic hack and it’s so obvious. Jerry Falwell, Jr is from the same vain and I despise Falwell Sr more than I do the older Graham. One of the worst ones is Pat Robertson tho. Guy literally invested in blood diamonds.

Oh, you’re absolutely not wrong. I think Billy Graham is the best of the lot - and given how bad Billy Graham was, that is a scathing condemnation of the rest of that generation of Super Evangelical Christian Preachers.
