Is there a lawyer here who can answer this? Wasn’t the legislation on the ERA amendment time-limited so that passing it at this point does not cause it to be part of the constitution? that the amendment would have to be resubmitted with either a new time limit or no limit on passage?

The 27th Amendment was originally proposed along with the Bill Of Rights in 1789 but it was not ratified until 1992.
