The Golden Calfers, some of them anyway, are beginning to tentatively face reality. A prominent Lubbock Trumpster and anti-mask/antivaxx agitator posted this on her FB page this morning:

I see a post like that “What can mere people do to me?” and wonder how they’d react if CBP turned up, arrested them, and tossed them in a cage without legal support, etc.

Sort of similar to Lincoln’s supposed sentiment about those supporting slavery having it done to them. (Though I unfortunately know a few too many people who would not learn empathy or “get it” if they did suffer some of this sort of abuse.)
