The true-believer Berners (as opposed to the Boys from Moscow) genuinely believe that it’s a zero-sum game for them. Either they succeed in winning the presidency with Bernie and his perfect socialist utopia springs forth fully formed or Repubs win and proceed to make America such a fascist hellhole that the voters rise up in “revolution” to install a socialist government.

Why did this not happen last year? Because apparently the “revolution” can only happen within the confines of the Dem Party, which cannot happen unless the rules are rigged in their favor as anytime they actually run a fair race they get their asses whipped.

These idiots are just like the 3rd party clowns. Green party has 0 Congressmembers, 0 Senators, 0 Governors, Maybe 1 or 2 mayors, few to no state legislators, but they think they are ready to run in and win a Presidental election. The Bernie Bro left at least has a few of the above and a handful of people in Congress, but if they want a way more progressive presidential candidate that might actually win, they should at least try to make up the majority of the collective left first and not just the 20 or so percent that overlaps heavily with kooks. That’s going to require running more people for lower offices and winning over people with their message. Them not doing this isn’t a conspiracy.
