I’m less into the demonization and more about the patterns. If there’s a rising pattern of anti-muslim sentiment in america, that results in attacks on Muslims and their places of worship, that ain’t the “left“‘s fault. We know where that’s coming from, we know where the rhetoric originates.

I’m eager for people like Newt Gingrich and co. to stop egging on lunatics. That’s what U’m eager for.

Yes the rhetoric does by and large come from the right end of the political spectrum. However when one sees such massive opposition to the mosque from the centre and the left can one blame that on the extreme right as well?
