As someone who wasn’t here back then, that was kind of a culture shock compared to now.

My favorite part, though, was the user ‘zombie’ and their string of posts.
They go on, about how Ben Stein and this movie, and ID in general, have no basis in science at all. And they downdinged big-time.
Then, after all their appeals to pro-science, they say this:

Uh, what happened to science?

Oh I missed that one. I take it all back now.
