To add to it: unless it’s used to disparage a person (or persons), I don’t think it’s racist.

I figured that I was not the first to post this, but was not in the mood to wade through the overnight thread. I tend to agree with your point of view. I guess it would be silly of me to expect the Congresswoman to be more artful in her choice of words, familiar as I am with her body of work.
