Pain can be a real problem. Mom had chronic pain, but hated the narcotics. I do even less well with narcotics than she did, so I’m hoping I never need ‘em.

Oh, I love narcotics. They don’t do shit for the pain, but make me not care about it. Totally useless and therefore I can’t justify using them.
