An interesting line from that E-mail screed Vicious Babushka wrote:

If you knew anything about Islamic countries in Africa, you would know that over 90% of the women have had their genitalia mutilated. Their clitoris is cut out, their inner labia cut off, and the outer labia sewn together leaving a hole no bigger than their anus.

Fun fact: Countries such as Ethiopia and Eritrea (overwhelmingly Christian) are the most egregious practitioners. Somehow, that gets translated to “Muslims FGM!!!!”

Funny how conservatives give Christians a pass on this abhorrent practice. It’s almost as if they have an axe to grind with Islam.

Plus the concern trolling about Islam always grates on me. They could give a hoot less about Muslim women unless it fits their conservative narrative: Why aren’t liberals focused on (name a foreign Muslim country issue) instead of the not as bad as issue in the USA?

It’s not as if liberals can only address one issue at a time… .
