I’m not so sure that Trumpers even fully believe that fake news shit. Deep down, I think they know that the Trump administration has gone to shit, but they can’t actually admit it because to do so would mean looking weak. So they flail about with this obvious bullshit in a pathetic attempt to take the heat off their president. It ain’t gonna work.

It would also mean the collapse of a huge amount of the infrastructure their political belief system is based on. And I continue to say that the hardest thing for people to do is admit they are wrong.
