It isn’t actually surprising to me that Pence would want a lawyer, whether he knows anything or did anything at all. But I doubt Baby Orange likes it.

Probably wont like it for two reasons.

1. It makes him look bad that his V.P. is lawyering up for a potential summons and
2. Any Lawyer Pence hires is going to be way more competent than the idiot he had to
hire because everyone else refused to represent him.

#2 is the one that’s going to rankle him the most.
