Alternative argument:

Firing someone because of their sexual orientation is also discrimination based on religion. Because the only argument an employer can offer is that employing someone of a non-cis/non-straight orientation violates the employer’s religious beliefs, which are obviously different from the employee’s religious beliefs. Ergo, religious discrimination.
