Good Evening Lizards.

I get my booster shot and a flu shot tomorrow morning. I hope the side effects are minimal, I had body aches and chills for about a day and a half after my two previous Pfizer shots, and this is my first flu shot. ( I know, but I have never had a serious bout of flu, now I will get shots yearly) This makes me happy, even if I am a tad apprehensive.

My son has had a bad cold/flu(we hope. He’s going for a covid test before noon tomorrow. The home test we did yesterday was negative, but we’re being sure)since Tuesday. He’s been off work since Wednesday with nasal congestion, a bit of a cough, and a fever that has shot up to almost 103 at one point. He’s been fully vaccinated and still has an appetite and can taste things. He’s been quarantined in his room til today for a bit, I disinfected his room and bathroom today while the husband was at a doctors appointment, and then hit the whole house with Lysol and a thorough cleaning. His temp has been below 100 since this morning with no NSAIDS, and says he’s feeling lots better. He’s supposed to travel with friends this weekend(road trip to Nashville for a two night metal show to celebrate his best friend’s birthday )he’s got a lot of non refundable money sunk into the trip, so if he listens to his Mom, he should be able to manage it ok as long as he stays the fuck away from the pit and hangs out in the balcony at the venue. And takes the meds and does the things he can to protect himself and his buddies. Of course I am totally worried.
