I would wager they are discounting GB time slot ads heavily rather than reducing amount of ads, or it could be both.

The other thing you have to wonder is this same thing true across all shows / all broadcasters for the same period? (e.g. is it just the economic trend?)

Yet another question is: can CoC’s figures be trusted? I know there have been questions raised about the accuracy of their list of advertisers who’ve pulled ads, with some companies claiming not to have done so.

I would take any information from this source with a grain of salt.

Note that I’m no fan of Becks and would be happy to see him driven off the air. But CoC’s own reputation isn’t exactly sterling.
