It’s one easy step from “this person has had too many abortions” to Republican-style slut shaming. How many abortions are too many?

Well, we’d have to call a psychologist in for that one. It would vary with the individual.

I’ve talked with several women about their experiences. It seems to be a time factor. I knew a couple that had one abortion as a young women and then had an oops pregnancy and abortion in their late 40’s. They didn’t seem to harbor any guilt, some regret, but no real psychological damage.

It’s the serial abortions that seem to add to psychic pain for the woman.

The only answer I have is Education and Contraception. It is an Individiual Choice.
