I think if they see it as a matter of their own survival, they will shoot back. Perhaps not at first but eventually it would be a bloodbath and the government would win. Regardless.

If ordered to attack other Americans, who knows whether or not they would.
If they are attacked I’m sure they would defend themselves and win. All I know is that if I saw an M1 Abrams parked in the street I would definitely leave it alone.
