I’ve been thinking about the war of words and deeds between FOX News and the President. We know that FOX is no friend of the President, but this is not the first time that Barack Obama has declared war on media he feels is unfriendly. It was just under a year ago that he booted some newspapers that he considered unfriendly off his campaign plane and replaced them with two Chicago newspapers that were presumably more friendly to Candidate Obama.

I am disappointed that as President, Mr. Obama has chosen the undignified stance that is no different than that of Candidate Obama. I think it’s whiny and beneath him. I’m sure some will be angry at me for feeling this way, but I think the President should take a lesson from his predecessor, who suffered much worse treatment from a VERY hostile media, but handled it with dignity worthy of his office.
