McCain still kissing Bush’s ass.

I still hear about our “victory” in Iraq (if you can call setting up a kleptocratic, incompetent government that still murders Sunnis and cozy’s up to Iran a victory), but I notice that nobody seems able to really define what the hell we won.

Meanwhile, this week another suicide bomber kills dozens of army recruits in line.

We didn’t “win” anything. We gave the Iraqis enough breathing time to get their shit together and reach a political solution between the religious factions. They did not take their chance to reconcile. They snatched their own defeat from the jaws of victory…and so we leave them to their own devices.
