Though I only started reading LGF in 2004, with the election and the Rathergate stuff, I went back and skimmed through the early entries, from the very beginning.

How some people concluded that a cycling, jazz musician proponent of evolution must be “conservative” is beyond me.

If I ever get hold of a time travel machine, I’m going back to 2002 and telling myself that some of these people who are pretending to be experts on Islam are really bigots with a good line of bullshit, and that some of the right wingers trying so hard to be my friends are really horrible people who will soon reveal themselves.

It would change the course of history as we know it.
