Have you ever actually read Marx? It’s not too bad as economists go. He and Adam Smith had very similar economic analysis at their heart and some of it remains very accurate. He probably likes banks more than Adam Smith did, if nothing else :) If Marx’s analysis of labor and value were incorrect, Wall Street, with its abstraction of value separated completely from the labor creating it, could not exist.

Now, this is not to excuse the various people who tried to take power based on a fundamental misreading of him, but the old painting of Marx by JBS & the like is just as big a fallacy.
