re: #91 Holidays are Family Fun Time

I’d venture to say that ALL of us here have some level of dysfunction that if combined with the arbitrary bad circumstances life can dice out, could become severely dysfunctional.

I’d like to think we can have systems in place to make this a temporary state, not one in which a person has to be come so dysfunctional they have to commit a crime to be noticed or get help.

It wouldn’t stop every tragedy, but I think we could prevent quite a few.

We would have to begin with a reality-based society. Until the god-botherers/science deniers are no longer taken seriously, that is not going to happen.
