Finding a parve margarine wasn’t the problem. I’d prefer using something else entirely. I saw a couple of recipes that use white wine and corn starch as thickeners, so I might play around with that approach next time.
I bought a cookbook on Amazon called “How to Veganize Anything!” but they were recommending all kinds of artificial shit like margarine, Coffee rich, that fake cheese they sell at Whole Foods.
