We’re people who bitch about people on welfare getting a little bit to survive but we hardly blink an eye at corporate welfare. So sick of this double standard. If you don’t like welfare, fine, that’s your right but at least get as angry at the widespread corporate giveaways to people who don’t need it. At least welfare recipients need the assistance they’re applying for. Corporate welfare is just giving the haves even more. And that frankly should disturb anyone left or right more than a poor family getting help.

These people also need an understanding of the causes and results of a “bread riot” are. No safety net is a *bad* thing. It’s inefficient for a society since you waste human potential, you spend a lot of resources on internal security, and there ends up being a lot of internal waste and destruction.
