One of the classes I teach is a gifted writing class that meets twice a week.

I’m having them enter a contest offered by the Ayn Rand Institute on the book Anthem.

I read it for the first time. I highly recommend it as an important reminder of what happens when the liberals’ agenda is carried to its logical conclusion.

I’m not a total Objectivist, but I do agree with some of Rand’s tenets.

Thank you for encouraging your students to read something different. My brother and I don’t remember any teacher recommending this author when we were in high school or college. Was Ayn Rand completely banned by our public school teachers?
