I am very sorry to hear this. You and your family are in my prayers.

Not to raise any hopes, but there is a drug out there that has been approved to treat liver cancer. It cuts off the blood supply to the cancer and has been shown in clinical trials to extend life of the patients. A small number cured, but most get an extension of their lives. I know about it because I invested in the company who makes it long ago.

The drug is called Nexavar and it is produced by Onyx Pharmaceuticals. Bayer also sells it. While I would assume your mom’s oncologist will have already thought about it one should always ask about such treatments. Again - not intended to raise false hopes, just potentially extend her life a bit longer which can be a great gift to you and your family.
