I do not agree. The courts have decided that illegally obtained evidence, if obtained by a private citizen, is admissible in court. The search and seizure laws are in place to protect the citizenry from illegal ‘police’ searches, not illegal ‘private citizen’ searches. Police are held to a different higher standard.
