I suppose it’s kind of endearing that Macron could be naibve enough to still have illusions about the President of the united States.

Remember De Gaulle when presented with photos of the Cuban missile sites said, “I don’t need to see them; the word of POTUS is enough for me” — and De Gaulle didn’t particularly like the USA.

We have many streets etc. named after FDR, JFK, Eisenhower, etc. It requires a leap to truly comprehend the sheer awfulness of DJT. Perhaps Macron has finally gotten it.
