The brief week every year where my wife and I are a year closer in age is over as I turn 59 today. As my wife is working the evening shift, she had my first part of the day planned out to deliver her slutty brownies and apple cider to our friends around town so that made it easy for everyone to wish me happy birthday…lol! While out I stopped by the pet store to load up on cat treats and I made sure to hit up my favorite head shop and get my senior and birthday discounts as I’m a cheap (I think I’m supposed to say “frugal” now) old dude. Our daughter is making something with steak and shrimp in it for dinner and my wife whipped up a chocolate cheesecake for dessert last night.

The best present is having another birthday and that’s what I want next year. My wife and our kids agree. :)
