Yeah, I’m a huge GB fan and this is EXACTLY the way I wanted it. The reboot was not good, but not because had an all female cast. The story sucked, the humor didn’t capture the spirit of the original and the main villain was garbage.

The 2016 Ghostbusters was a cookie-cutter film. Written by committee on a whiteboard in a Hollywood studio office. The actors themselves are all very talented and very funny….sadly, they were poorly served by a shit screenplay.
