wholeheartedly agree. if i were going on a space voyage and was only allowed one recording artist’s catalog, I’d take the Stones. There’s just way, way more there. I want to hear Sgt. Peppers in its entirety maybe once every ten years. And that’s one of basically 5 really good Beatles albums. The first album sucks. The fourth album is rushed. Yellow Submarine is a throw-away. Fool on the Hill has basically two good tracks that should have been on Sergeant Pepper. The White Album is vastly overrated. The last two were produced by people that hated each other’s guts at the time.
