Daughter2 was the only account manager in her small commercial insurance office. She answered a called-in question from her OB bed about 20 minutes before giving birth. It worked for her.
I had a client that called me when I was in the hospital with Mrs. Fish after her car accident. He started to give me an earful, and I stopped him cold by telling him, “Client, I’m sorry, I have to go, I’m getting the paperwork together to get Mrs. Fish discharged from the hospital.” His response was, “Oh, shit,” and then he hung up. It was actually quite gratifying.
