We probably agree that in any debate, the first to compare to Hitler loses the debate! I hate the Obama Hitler signs just as much as I hated the Bush Hitler signs. It’s an insult to my intelligence (as probably yours as well).

However, of the leaders that you list (Beck, Hannity, Rush, etc.) I don’t recall any of them urging their listeners to cut propane lines, call anyone racist names, break any laws, etc.

It is my opinion that focusing on the lowest common denominator of any political party (Racist rednecks on my end, ELF and hippy freeloaders on your end) puts the debate right in the mud. Reasonable people can disagree on weather government should control healthcare, but pointing to the extremes on either side does nothing to advance the debate.
