GOP house leadership brought Sandy relief up for a vote (they didn’t dare sit on it). After that, the disaster relief was going to pass.

For gun control, the real question is what, if anything, will the GOP leadership let come to a vote. This isn’t as urgent as disaster relief, so the leadership will want to do nothing.
