I liked the comment the actress who played Vasquez made about the movie’s casting call. She knew it was a movie called “Aliens” and they were looking for a Latina actress to play the part, but that’s all she knew, so she dressed as a Los Angeles Hispanic girl thinking it was about “Illegal aliens”. It took several months of gym work to turn her into the USMC smartgunner we know and love.
