Thing is a black person invented the architecture of Skynet *before* Judgment Day, and when that happened John Connor in the future sent a Cyberdyne Systems M-101 to protect himself before Judgment Day ever happened, and when that happened young John Connor broke his mother out of a high-security mental institution with the help of the M-101 and then later John Connor’s mom Sarah tried but ultimately failed (because of her humanity?) to kill that black person who invented the architecture of Skynet (which was discovered by accident even before John Connor was born), and…

My head hurts. Time travel is fraught with endless difficulties.
