I seriously get the frustration with conserva-Dems. I’ve also been living in a Republican state for the last 20 years, which was Democratic before that only because Democrats were conservative and so having a Democrat representing me would be awesome.

I think what frustrates people is that he has a sizable lead in the polls and he could have easily explained his vote. He took the easy way out. I’m glad that he votes correctly on health care and tax cuts but it would be nice if Manchin would realize that he doesn’t always have to give something to his party’s conservative voters.
