Back from voting. No line to speak of since it was mid-morning. And I overheard one of the poll workers being asked about turnout and saying it had been rather high so far.
(This is just for township and county elections.)

One candidate for the school board was at the polling place greeting voters. Someone I planned on voting for in any case.

Where is this? What state?

Obviously a locale with lax enforcement of “electioneering” regulations - if they have any(?) In NYC, there are cops posted near every polling place to keep signs (not to mention glad-handing candidates) outside a 200-foot zone.
