Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova argued on state TV that Georgia and Ukraine shouldn’t be allowed to join NATO, because Moscow does not consider them to be sovereign countries.

This is not a New Cold War, Russia is not trying to implement a worldwide ideology, but they are aiming to restore the Russian Empire in its old form one way or another.
