I’ve actually had the reverse. My dad didn’t believe in evolution when I was a kid. I remember him mocking the idea, and it being one of the first moments where I realized that my parents were fallible, since evolution always made sense to me.

But he got better, and now even enjoys the topic of evolution. It coincided with him getting therapy and becoming less of an angry man. Wonder if there’s a link there.
